Alongside my private practice I also offer supervision to trainee and experienced CBT Psychotherapists. I am a very supportive, compassionate and dynamic supervisor. I strongly believe in creating a safe, meaningful and encouraging space in supervision to facilitate learning and development. Feeling safe and not concerned about condemnation or negative judgement when disclosing thoughts, feelings, fears, worries and mistakes is imperative in the supervisory relationship. Constructive feedback, suggestions and guidance are all given sensitively to allow the Psychotherapist to continue their professional development.
Supervision is done remotely using zoom and can be as often as you like – weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc. Sessions can be for 60 minutes (£80) or 90 minutes (£115), whatever meets your needs.
I have completed training by Helen Kennerley (Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre) on “CBT supervision: What is it and how we can do it well”, BABCP skills training with Mark Latham and Stephen Holland on “How to Make Supervision More Experiential”, Jason Roscoe on “How to be a more dynamic supervisor”, Michael Worrell “Maximise the effectiveness of CBT supervision” and George Haarman “Best practices in clinical supervision: a blueprint for providing effective and ethical clinical supervision”.
